All fragrances in our catalogues are exclusively hand made from pure essential oils, absolutes, resins, tinctures and balsams harvested from the buds, blossoms, fruit, berries, seeds, leaves, sticks, stems, heartwood, bark, mosses, lichens, resins, roots and rhizomes of exquisite living plants.
Diluted in Perfume Grade ethanol derived from Australian sugar cane, there are no synthetic aroma-chemicals in our fragrances. We include small quantities of filtered Australian water to soften the ethanol and improve the finished product. No animal testing ever.
We offer 30ml atomisers (worldwide), and our 50ml spray atomisers are available to ship by road across the Australian mainland. 50ml atomisers may also be purchased internationally, on request, in bulk orders of 5 or more bottles, as well being available from our retail stockists.
All copy is written by me, and all product images taken by me with an iphone, in the spur of the moment. No AI-generated anything.

FLORAL AMBERS
Our Floral Amber base is made in-house; often blended with hand-tinctured, premium vanilla beans. Sometimes we use CO2 extracted vanilla absolute to which we add styrax absolute, labdanum, and many precious woods and resins. This long-lasting base forms the solid ground for our floral hearts and other embellishments (tonka, cacao, spices, citrus fruits, other featured aromatics). Verging into the territory of luxury gourmands and delicious edibles, our amber base provides creamy notes of caramel, vanilla, spicy baked goods, piquant plums, cherries and cacao. Deeply comforting and warm.
FLORAL CHYPRES
Our chypre base is also made in-house; comprised of Italian Bergamot, oakmoss, Portuguese labdanum and aged Sumatran patchouli. Once fully matured we incorporate the floral heart; seeking harmonious balance between opposing elements: wet/dry, hot/cold, bitter/sweet/, astringent/tender. Our complex chypre stories are designed to stimulate the mind, offering complex scent layers that drift along, unfurling throughout each perfume's journey on skin. Story-tellers, archetypes, costumes.
GREEN FLORALS
Our Green Florals category offers a wide range of compositional styles including luminous silk shawls of delicate floralcy, to traditional elegant fougeres and herbacious floral colognes (albeit composed in much greater potency for longevity and radiant sillage).
OUD MUKHALLATS
Oud Mukhallats is a class of perfumery that fascinates me, particularly as I use agarwood to emphasise the darker aspects of a composition, utilising the animalic properties of oud to cast shadows, to render great drama, invite the raw power of real life into the blend. It creates depth and perspective. We only use premium grade, aged Qadeem oud (5+ years) sourced from the Assam belt, distilled by the same master distiller in Kannauj/India that we have worked with for over 15 years. Notes of plum, chocolate, single-malt whisky and leather are discerned from our oud, and we use it very generously.
PRECIOUS WOODS AND INCENSE
Precious Woods and Incense is my own personal passion in perfumery. I'm guilty of using vast quantities of real sandalwoods;- 35 year old Mysore, East Indian, African and Australian. Long after I've gone, I hope archeologists find a cache of my stored perfumes and enter the treasure-house of these scent-jewels;- various Santalums, Cedars of Lebanon, Siberian cedar, Douglas Fir, Atlas cedar, Black Spruce, Norwegian fir, Red pine, Greek mastics, Copals, African frankincenses and myrrhs. This category of artisan perfumery is truly an Aladdin's cave of aromatic wonders. My precious.
RAREST RESINS & RAW MATERIALS
Our Rarest Resins and Raw Materials category showcases perfumes made with very generous quantities of truly extraordinary aromatics. Each rare component (essential oils, absolutes and tinctures) is artisanally hand-crafted by master distillers from around the world. These materials are only available in limited quantities and are very costly, (thus never to be found in mass-produced perfumery).
Current compositions feature a wide range of superb materials including:- Mitti Attar (traditionally distilled in pure sandalwood), Janbhaar Ruh Khus, natural White Ambergris (the only animalic in our catalogue), Nepalese Spikenard, Copal Blanco, Pom Copal, White Pine Resin, Red Pine, Mt Atlas Mastic, Afghani Musk Root, Caucasus Mtns Black Fasoukh, Algerian White Fasoukh, Frankincenses:- (Sultan’s Grade Royal Green Hojary, Somali/B. carterii, Dalzieli, Frereana abs, Neglecta, Papyrifera, Rivae), Omumbiri Myrrh, Kua Myrrh, Kataf Myrrh, Commiphora Erythrea, Opopponax and Bushman’s Candle Powder.
