I sit and close my eyes against the awful prospect of loss, of missing you, and that somehow you have vanished from my world. Were you ever real?

The swaying of the train carriage drugs me, I drift so far away, detached. Perhaps I slip into a dream, perhaps I lose my mind, but suddenly my heart skips a beat, blood rushes to my face and my stomach flutters…

I catch your unmistakable scent… you are here. And I am returned to your world just in time to see you step through the doors and onto the platform. Swallowed by the surging grey mass of hurriers, you disappear from my sight.
