AROMATHERAPY INCENSE

I just adore incense. In my teens, I used to love filling the whole suburb I lived in with radioactive clouds of intensely sweet, floral Indian agarbattis. Then, as a necessary part of my human evolution, I switched to the wonder of heating pure resins on charcoal and on electric incense heaters. Heaven!

These are my favourite pure aromatherapy blends, crafted into hand-dipped incense. Our sticks are made from bamboo blanks and pure makko powder (no toxic combustibles, no saltpeter, no DPG). The essential oils I choose are premium quality, and each stick is generously infused with rare and precious botanical materials. 

The fragrances are lavish, natural and reference the matching perfumes of the same names.

EMBERS is a very (very) strong woody amber scent made with Sumatran Patchouli, Virginian Cedarwood, Indian Sandalwood and my amber base. This incense is a festival camp-fire at full roar. The patchouli included renders this incense less sweet than Embers perfume, it delivers a crackling fireplace of exotic woods glowing through the night in very cold weather. Best suited for very large rooms, or outdoor entertaining areas due to the potency of the scent. Beautiful on the breeze, but far too strong for an apartment or bedroom. Embers incense is ideal for outdoor dining and parties, where an ambient atmosphere of candle-light, firelight and starlight set the scene. (Pack of 20 medium sticks)

NIGHT TRAIN TO SURAT THANI – is a simple combination of Honey Murcott, Jasmine Grandiflorum with Green and White Tea. Fresh, alive, tropical and deeply calming. The next best thing to diving into a crystal clear pool of water in the humid heat of equatorial Summer. (Box of 20 medium sticks/approx burning time is 30 minutes)

SAFFRON – Amber accord, Saffron and Sandalwood – small tubes of 10 small sticks (approx burning time is 15 minutes)

TUBEROSE EMBERS – A dramatic and romantic moodscape of Tuberoses, French Rose de Mai on my signature amber base with luscious Mysore sandalwood. (Box of 20 medium sticks/approx burning time is 30 minutes)

ULUWATU – is a shimmering trance of firelight against the night sky, gorgeously infused with a spicy, erotic jolt of wild energies. Javanese Cinnamon, Cypress, Sumatran Patchouli, Lemongrass, Vanilla and Mysore Sandalwood. Great for satisfying the yearning to dance on the beach all night under the stars, as waves crash and tigers watch on through the trees …even if only in our dreams. WILD SPACE –  A superb wilderness blend, this incense is deeply restorative, total rejuvenation for the primitive soul. Bergamot, Cypress, Juniper, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Myrrh and Vetiver. (20 Large sticks/approx burn time is 30mins/stick).
