Multi-artist Mischa Reinthal has been my perfume protege for several years.
His first 2 releases; Black Powder, followed by Leather Dandy both found great favour within the fragrance community and both fragrances subsequently sold right down to their very last drops.
Caravaggio, an elegant oud chypre, is his third fragrance composition and demonstrates, in company with the fruits of Mischa’s many creative talents, a beautiful force of nature.
Featured NOTES include:- Cold-pressed Italian Lemon, Australian White Cyprus, Frankincense (the rare and beautiful Dalzieli), Amyris, Vetiver, Labdanum, Oak Moss, Afghani Musk-root and 5+ years aged Hindi Oud

“Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio was a revolutionary artist of the late Renaissance and early Baroque period. He mastered the use of Chiaroscuro, the dramatic contrast of intense light and shadow, and his personality seems equally suffused with darkness and burning passion.
Known for his love of drinking and fighting, Caravaggio would party like an animal in the gutters of 1590s Rome, smashing out another masterpiece only when the money from the last commission had run out.
This perfume is a snapshot of Caravaggio’s world. It evokes Italian Summer nights, unbridled passion, flowing wine, baskets of fruit, linseed oil. It reveals the clenched fist and delicate brushwork.”

ONE RAINY WISH
Steve Reinthal is a gifted musical artist; an original music composer, audio producer, film sound lecturer, and an extraordinary musician specialising in lush, cinematic music on finger-style and electric guitars.
As my beloved husband and partner of over 30 years, Steve has always been the back-bone of our tiny artisan perfume house – supporting me throughout the whole journey, in charge of all of our bottling, product packaging, shipment packing and warehouse management.
After many years of being fully immersed in the evolution of my studio, and with great aplomb, Steve has, at-last, completed his own beautiful artisanal perfume composition.
This deeply cooling floral is an emerald green jewel of very rare, precious Australian flora in company with other exquisite natural materials including: Italian Bergamot, Japanese Yuzu, Chinese Osmanthus, Australian Rosewood, Bellissima Myrtle, Australian Boronia, Frangipani, Kimberley Heath, Amyris, Tasmanian Pepper and Haitian Vetiver

“Sydney, NSW, Australia. A cleansing Spring shower has just retreated back into the rolling marshmallow clouds, the last silver drops clinging to the blossom.
Stretching and dripping in slow motion, trampolining down, leaf to leaf toward the damp grass.
The soil beneath is replete and alive. Chortling Magpies and Pee Wees are scanning for the first ground creatures to emerge and go about their business. There is stillness, anticipation, and magic in the air.

They say that white floral fragrances can be polarising; and that many people shrink back from them, citing an aversion to the “screechy” floral elements.
“Too much brightness, too sweet, too soapy”… etc etc
My Teneriffe, however, is the naughty kid of white florals. Here is a dare-devil tomboy who sleeps in, talks back, climbs fences and rips her clothes. Has hairy legs and freckles, yearns to fly jet planes, gallop across deserts on wild horses, wield a Samurai sword and shred on a 1962 slab-board stratocaster.
No interest in fake tans, hair-styling, make-up, jewellery, lip-fillers, haute couture or stiletto heels. Just a life-long love affair with blue skies, sunlight, fresh air, rivers and tides.

A tart yuzu and bergamot opening that develops into a dark, honeyed, blossom chypre comprised of organic Egyptian neroli and orange blossom absolute, with orris, tonka, labdanum, oakmoss and Sumatran patchouli. – TR
